Ten medical students from a CEU University, three alumni, a surgeon and Professor Belén Merck travelled to the Philippines on their third humanitarian aid mission.
Over two intense weeks, doctors and future doctors have treated more than 2,000 destitute people in the Asian nation. The mission has been carried-out in two locations: Lagonoy, a rural area with limited resourced in the southern Philippines, and Manila. Volunteers have conducted medical visits to several children, adults and the elderly who predominantly suffer from tuberculosis.
